No domingo, 28 de junho, às 13h, a Reclaim PRIDE Coalition estará nas ruas de Manhattan para nossa segunda Marcha Anual QUEER LIBERATION MARCH FOR BLACK LIVES AND AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY (Marcha de Libertação Queer para Vidas Negras e Contra a Brutalidade Policial).

Os manifestantes devem usar máscaras faciais para proteger contra o COVID-19 e manter o distanciamento seguro.

O Reclaim Pride fornecerá máscaras, desinfetante para as mãos e água para aqueles que precisarem. E o Reclaim Pride transmitirá ao vivo a Marcha online em @queermarch no FB e Twitter/Periscope e via Youtube ao vivo no reclaimpridenyc.org para aqueles que não podem comparecer pessoalmente.
Em março deste ano, como todas as marchas de protesto atuais, não teremos permissão formal da prefeitura e do departamento de polícia.

Nós do Defend Democracy in Brazil nos alinhamos à missão dessa marcha:
Horrorizadxs com os assassinatos policiais de George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Layleen Polanco, Rayshard Brooks e um número incontável de outros, lamentando as intermináveis mortes violentas de mulheres trans negras e homens como Dominique "Rem'mie" Fells e Riah Milton, e inspiradxs pelo histórico movimento de protesto liderado pelos negros que tomou as ruas aqui em Nova York e em todo o mundo, o Reclaim Pride apoia as demandas para diminuição dos subsídios imediata, o desmantelamento, o desarmamento e a reimaginação de forças policiais.

Nos unimos a abolicionistas como Mariambe Kaba e outros em várias cidades para exigir uma redução de 50% no orçamento da polícia de Nova York com uma redução de 50% na força policial. Esses fundos devem ser dedicados a serviços como habitação, saúde, educação e justiça reparadora e restaurativa para as comunidades negras e pardas. Devemos priorizar reparações para aqueles que foram oprimidos e assassinados por centenas de anos.

#CancelBolsonaro #StopBolsonaro against the racist, LGBTQphobic and genocidal government of Brazil, aligning ourselves with the World Protest Day organized by FIBRA- International Front of Brazilians Against the Coup.

On Sunday, June 28, at 1 pm, the Reclaim PRIDE Coalition will be on the streets of Manhattan for our second Annual March for the Liberation March for Black Lives and AGAINST POLICE BRUTALITY.

Protesters must wear face masks to protect against COVID-19 and keep their distance safe.
Reclaim Pride will provide masks, hand sanitizer and water to those who need them. And Reclaim Pride will broadcast the March live online at @queermarch on FB and Twitter / Periscope and via Youtube live on reclaimpridenyc.org for those who cannot attend in person.
In March of this year, like all current protest marches, there is no permission from the city / nypd.

Horrified by the police murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, Layleen Polanco, Rayshard Brooks and countless others, lamenting the endless violent deaths of black trans women and men like Dominique "Rem'mie" Fells and Riah Milton, and inspired by the historic black-led protest movement that took to the streets here in New York and around the world, Reclaim Pride supports demands for immediate de-financing, dismantling, disarmament and reimagining of police forces.

We teamed up with abolitionists like Mariambe Kaba and others in several cities to demand a 50% reduction in the New York police budget with a 50% reduction in the police force. These funds must be dedicated to services such as housing, health, education and restorative and restorative justice for black and brown communities. We must prioritize reparations for those who have been oppressed and murdered for hundreds of years.

While all black people are at constant risk of police brutality and murder, we, as gay and trans activists, recognize that black trans, gender nonconformist and non-binary people, especially black trans women, are facing the intersection between the state vicious and social racism, transphobia, misogyny and classism. This should stop now.
